Ramesh - the accounts (all not just gmail) were removed from Thunderbird. The mail is still in Gmail... It's just a pain having to reset it up again. Yes I noticed that Gmail has now better imap features only release a few days ago. IMAP labs. So will be testing it out. thanks!

@katyousha

Haven't tried this in a while (after first configuring my accounts I haven't had the need to redo it), but gmail now has new features that allow you to specify which labels show up in IMAP. Do any of the folders show up for you? And has your mail been deleted from your online account or is it that they just don't show up in Thunderbird?

@Stm

I haven't yet tested this out in vs2008, so I'm not sure. But my guess would be that they have fixed the issue.

In vs2005 treeview is not supported in updatepanels (but works with lot of bugs). Some of this bugs could be eliminated using EnableClientScripts=false, but in this case the tree will be slow also.

In vs2008 the treeview works fine in updatepanels, and is supported only when EnableClientScripts=true(!)

So the treeview works lightening fast for me in vs2008 (in updatepanel and with turned off viewstate).

What do you think?

What a long, long list of things to do before you were allowed to compile a minimal "Hello World"!!
I know it's a differente language and a different enviroment, but, why not give Gambas a try?
